         Knowledge on Mechanics

Applied mechanics is an area of Physics and practical application of mechanics. Applied mechanics assesses response of bodies (solids
and fluids) or system of bodies when these are submitted to external forces. Some examples of mechanical systems include flow of liquids
under pressure, fracture of a solid caused by application of force, or vibration of an auditory system in response to sound.
